My first visit to the Black Forest and definitely not my last. Unfortunately we were only shortly before 6 p.m. Berggasthof Durben arrived, but we were lucky enough to be able to enjoy the good cuisine. Homemade sausages with potato salad - a poem! Home-baked farmer's bread and freshly prepared schnitzel, plus very nice service. We sat after the restaurant closed to enjoy the wonderful sunset. The Black Forest is a beautiful piece of earth.

Were there for the first time on Sunday. The food was delicious, a compliment to the kitchen. The ambience was also great. Keep it up, very happy to come back. 10 points 👍🏼

Relaxing place, great views and a playground for children. Small restoration but more than satisfactory. I recommend.

We were there yesterday with about 25 people eating. The food was freshly prepared and very tasty. The view is wonderful and the playground is great for the children! We would love to come back. Keep it up.

The Vesperstube has gained significantly since it reopened in May 2020. Nice and cozy seating, wonderful ambience with lots of nature around it. Despite the renovation, the cozy and rustic has remained. I also think it's nice that there are still good homemade sausages and bacon from our own production. (TIP: hot farmer's sausage with potato salad). It's also nice that there are now fresh schnitzel and beer by the glass. Homemade cakes are great too 👍 I'll be happy to come back there.

The location and atmosphere are really nice. But, long wait until someone asks for drinks and food, then wait again, drink comes, wait again. After a little eternity, the food comes. In any case, they cannot have chips. In any case, there was no salt and the salad was just gone. After eating the same from the beginning, wait again until someone asks if you want to pay. 🤦‍♂️ In any case there was no tip. Too bad. Could be so nice

The Durben has finally opened again under a new lease 😍 The landlady is super friendly, the food is delicious, everything is nicely prepared without losing the rustic charm. A bisi fresh is, a bisi modern is ... schee isch !!
